Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association celebrates jewellery industry in New York

Jewellery organisation the Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association celebrated names in jewellery and discussed the industry at its recent ‘IDCA US-India Jewelry Industry Trade Symposium’ in New York, US. The event featured industry talks and awards and was held at the Consulate General of India, New York.

The IDCA explored the future of jewellery with key figures in the industry at its recent symposium, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. The event honoured FEI chairman Sunil Jain, Sandeep Diamond Corporation president Sandeep Shah, and Unique Designs Inc CEO Tejas Shah with ‘Business Leadership’ awards for their service to the industry. 
 
“We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for taking time out of your busy schedule to attend the IDCA US-India Jewelry Industry Trade Symposium on Saturday, November 19th, 2022, at the Consulate of India in New York,” the Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association announced on Facebook on November 30. “Your presence and participation made this memorable event a huge success. We would like to sincerely thank our Government Officials, Keynote Speaker, Honorees, Guest Speaker and Panelists. We would like to express our appreciation to the Consulate General of India, New York for this historic opportunity to hold the Symposium at the Consulate.”

The event featured Signet Jewelers’ group president and COO Jamie Singleton as keynote speaker and IDMA president Ronnie VanderLinden as guest of honour. The Indian Consul General in New York Randhir Jaiswal and Congresswoman in the US House of Representatives Grace Meng also attended the event among others. 
 
“As the market continues to normalise after an incredible two years, we will continue to grow and thrive but what we should focus on is deeper consumer insights, bolder innovation and protecting the integrity of our supply chain,” said Singleton in her address, the GJEPC reported.
