In order to promote Indian design and businesses in Scandinavia, the Export Promotion Council of Handicrafts is holding two fairs in Denmark and Sweden next month. The aim of the events is to connect Indian manufacturers and exporters with buyers and retail businesses in the two countries which can source products directly from the Indian businesses that produce them.

The event aims to increase Indian craft exports to Scandinavia and give businesses a chance see products and network in person. The event is also organised with the Embassy of India Sweden and Latvia and the Embassy of India Copenhagen, Denmark.

Some of the product categories that will feature in the exhibition include fashion jewellery, accessories, handbags, hand-printed stoles, textiles, scarves and shows, handmade gift items, woodcarvings, homeware, and metal work.

Some of the textiles businesses that will take part in the event include Radiance Industries, The Art Exotica, and Craft Palette. Jewellery businesses scheduled to take part include Emrusa Jewellers, Jumbo International, G D Trendz, and Avadh Behari Khanna & Bros.
