India’s first lifestyle digital platform YONO launched

India’s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has launched the country’s first lifestyle digital service platform YONO (You Only Need One) with an aim to tap shoppers from the e-commerce and lifestyle segment.

The integrated Omni-channel digital platform will offer financial services across various lifestyle categories and has partnered with leading e-commerce & fashion retailers like Myntra, Jabong, Shoppers Stop, Tata Cliq, Max Fashion, PC Jewellers among many others in the lifestyle space to tap the customer base in this segment.
 
Customized products and offers from over 60 e-commerce players will be offered to customers by YONO making it the country’s first digital banking platform to do so.
 
To stand out from the other digital platforms that currently exist in the market SBI’s YONO platform has incorporated latest digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning into its platform for easy accessibility.
 
Rajnish Kumar, Chairman, SBI in a statement said, “India is going digital at an unprecedented pace and we at SBI have been taking significant strides in the digital banking space. With the launch of YONO, customers will be able to seamlessly access lifestyle offerings and financial services with a single user id and password.
 
“The portal has been designed to offer maximum customer convenience where each journey has been designed with minimum possible clicks with easy to understand descriptions. We believe this app will help us increase engagement with our customers and enhance their banking,” he added.
 
Customers will be able to access the YONO service through mobile phones, both android and iOS, and on the web through a browser.
