India International Knit Fair to hold 47th edition in Avinashi

India International Knit Fair will hold its 47th edition from February 17 to 19 at the India Knit Fair Complex in Avinashi, Tirupur to promote business development in the Indian knitwear industry. 

 
The trade show will feature a wide array of men’s women’s, and children’s readymade knitwear and aims to create a platform to discuss upcoming knitwear trends, link businesses together, and promote the Indian knitwear industry. The business-to-business trade show caters to manufacturers, buyers from both india and abroad, wholesalers, and designers,among others. 
 
The event will hold an inaugural event on Monday with chief guest, Thiru O S Manian, the government of Tamilnadu’s Minster for Handlooms and Textiles. The fair will see businesses launch their ‘All Season’ 2021 collections for the first time. 

Organised by the Apparel Export Promotion Council and the India Knit Fair Association, the event describes itself as “India’s biggest exposition on knitted garments”.

The trade show held its first edition in 1995 and has consistently drawn an international crowd.
