India Fashion Week London to celebrate Desi design in the UK this November

India Fashion Week London will hold its upcoming edition from November 16 to 17 at Novotel in London, UK, and bring an array of Indian brands to the UK for a runway show and pop-up shopping event.

Visitors to the upcoming edition of India Fashion Week London will be able to see Indian brands’ designs on the runway and then shop the collections at the event’s shopping exhibition. The shopping section will feature promotional offers and a rare opportunity for UK shoppers to try garments and meet some of the designers in person, who will travel to the UK capital from India.

India Fashion Week London is holding model castings on September 28 at the Radisson Blu Edwardian in Harlington at Heathrow. The open auditions will find models to walk the runway at the two-day fashion show in November.   

The Desi fashion show announced on Facebook that its headline sponsor is Pugata Jewellery. The diamond jewellery brand will feature its designs on the runway and at the subsequent fashion exhibition. 

India Fashion Week London was founded in September 2013 by the events management business Platinum Exhibitions which also runs that National Asian Wedding Show. The fashion show aims to travel to other international locations in future including Paris, New York, and Canada, according to the event’s Facebook page.
