India International Beauty Fair to hold 2020 trade show in Mumbai

Cosmetics, wellness, and fitness trade show ‘India International Beauty Fair 2020’ will run from February 28 to March 1 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, with the aim of boosting India’s beauty industry.

 
Describing itself as “South Asia’s biggest ever beauty fair” on its Facebook page, the India International Beauty Fair 2020 expects a footfall of 30,000 people over its four-day event with over 150 brands scheduled to participate. The event plans to bring brands and buyers from countries including Korea, Spain, Australia, Belgium, Malaysia, China, and Costa Rica, among others, to India, according to the event’s website. 
 
The trade show will feature product launches and demonstrations, networking opportunities, and media interactions as well as a fashion show. Featured product categories will include cosmetics, personal care goods, hair products, wigs, skincare, holistic goods, lifestyle items, anti-ageing solutions, aromatherapy, packaging, and medical beauty treatments, among others. 

The trade show is supported by the Union Government Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises and vendors who choose early booking are eligible for MSME reimbursement from the MSME Ministry. The event is organised by Assocham, Brandsun Promotion, and ITPO and its industry partner is FIEO.
