India Fashion Forum to take place in Bengaluru this December

The India Fashion Forum will hold its 20th edition from December 17 to 18 at the Hotel Conrad in Bengaluru and will bring together fashion retailers from across the country to discuss current trends and innovation.

The IFF’s upcoming edition will feature talks and panel discussions on “Fashion Intelligence”, “The Changing Fashion Consumer”, and “Innovation, Sustainability, and Traceability” among other topics. The forum, which describes itself as “India’s largest fashion retail intelligence event” on its website, takes place along with Fashion Techway and will also feature a number of masterclasses and leadership sessions.

Focus areas for the conclave include how CEOs will have to adapt for the coming decade in retail, reimagining physical retail, and how the current year has been for India’s fashion consumers. Confirmed speakers for the event include Puma India’s managing director Abhishek Ganguly; Arvind Brands and Retail’s managing director and CEO Suresh J; and Nalli’s president Lavanya Nalli. Sponsors include Inorbit, Infiniti, and Select CityWalk.

The IFF held its most recent edition from March 27 to 28, 2019. The event saw participation from businesses including Fila, Raisin, Soch, Wondersoft, Sara, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Retale, Indi, Zarzoa, The Woolmark Company, Heatwave, Wishful, Aurelia, W, Casa, Gap, Sephora, Ed Hardy, Skechers, and Pepe Jeans and speakers included Raymond Apparel Group’s president Gaurav Mahajan. 

The IFF began hosting fashion summits in the year 2000 and aims to create a platform for brands to launch new products and labels from as well as a place for businesses to join forces to forecast trends for the coming year.
