Stylists, designers, photographers, illustrators and other artists have until January 25, 2023 to submit their avant-garde marketing ideas aimed at raising consumer awareness for the social and environmental challenges facing the fashion industry, with an eye on the €3,000 prize.

This is the third edition of the Imagining Sustainable Fashion Award (ISFA), a competition first organised at the end of 2020 by Connecting Cultures (Out of Fashion), a foundation specialized in raising awareness through art, and by C.L.A.S.S., an international eco-hub dedicated to making the fashion sector more responsible by promoting the synergy between design, innovation, communication and sustainability.

ISFA’s 2021 edition recognised Italian illustrator Emma Scalcon for her inventive visuals aimed at consumers, entitled ‘Take a walk on the green side’. Last March, Indian digital artist Vishal Tolambia won the prize with his video campaign showcasing eco-responsible shopping in the form of a dating app, in which commitment to sustainability is the determining factor.

For the award's third edition, candidates will be judged by a panel of 13 industry professionals, including representatives of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (the Italian fashion chamber), the Council of Fashion Designers of America, the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum and Fashion 4 Development.

Candidates are invited to submit their application within the next three months via a dedicated page on the Connecting Cultures website.
