The International Gem and Jewellery Show will hold its first physical edition of the year in Jaipur from March 22 to 24, at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The GJEPC will bring businesses together in Jaipur once again for IGJS this March - GJEPC India- Facebook

IGJS, a jewellery trade show focused on international buyers, will go back offline for its March edition, its organiser the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council announced. The trade show will feature diamond jewellery, loose gemstones, gold, silver, and platinum jewellery, and coloured stone jewellery among other products.

The trade show expects up to 20,000 visitors over the course of the three-day event as well as over 100 exhibitors. Indian gem and jewellery businesses will be able to schedule meetings with international wholesalers and buyers and the event is part of the GJEPC’s wider campaign to boost India’s jewellery exports.

The GJEPC describes IGJS as, “a standout show with a sharp focus on enhanced customer experience and engagement.”

The GJEPC recently held an online edition of IGJS from January 18 to 22. Buyers from over 56 countries participated in the digital trade show alongside over 100 Indian gems and jewellery businesses.

In 2020, the GJEPC held the majority of its jewellery trade shows online due to local social distancing regulations and international travel disruption. 2021 sees more relaxed regulations for Indian trade shows, but the GJEPC is keen to retain some of the digital features that proved popular last year.
