IIJS Virtual to launch new edition with over 250 exhibitors on January 8

The second edition of the India International Jewellery Show Virtual will welcome over 250 exhibitors and over 10,000 buyers from January 8 and has already opened up appointment bookings.

On January 2, IIJS Virtual 2.0 opened up bookings for online meetings to enable participants to schedule meetings before the virtual trade show is inaugurated on Friday, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. IIJS expects to facilitate over 15,000 virtual meetings between jewellery manufacturers and buyers this edition. 
 
“Before the show is inaugurated on the eighth of January, the visitors will have enough time to browse through the product displays and fix appointments with prospective exhibitors,” said the GJEPC’s national exhibitions convenor, Shailesh Sangani. 

“The pre-scheduling of appointments will offer a focused buyer-seller interaction. The exhibitors have already done their profiling on their pages, helping visitors to take informed decisions about who they would like to meet over the five days of the show.”
 
The online trade show will feature five halls dedicated to traditional gold jewellery; gold jewellery (mass); diamond and coloured gemstone jewellery; couture and bridal jewellery; and loose coloured gemstones, silver jewellery, and machinery.
