Hurun Report awards Shree Ramkrishna Exports ‘Most Respected Family Business of the Year’ title

Shree Ramkrishna Exports Private Limited was awarded the title of ‘Most Respected Family Business of the Year’ by Hurun Report Global 2022. The diamond business was given its award at an event in Mumbai. 

Hurun Report held the tenth edition of its ‘Hurun Most Respected Entrepreneurs Awards’ on February 2, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. At the gala event, Shree Ramkrishna Exports’ co-founder and chairman Govind Dholakia was given his award by Hurun Report’s global chairman Rupert Hoogewerf.
 
“We don’t believe in life insurance policy, because for us, our family is our life insurance,” said group head Govind Dholakia in his speech at the event, the GJEPC reported. “Our company has been made into a family; we haven’t made our family into a company!”

Shree Ramkrishna Exports was awarded for both its sustainable and eco-friendly business practices and its treatment of its employees. The event also featured a keynote speech by Aditya Birla Group chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla and speeches by Asian Paints’ non-executive chairman Ashwin Dani and Godrej Industries’ managing director Nadir Godrej among others. 
 
Hurun Report is a research, luxury publishing, and events business which was established in London in 1998. The business has a presence in countries including India, China, France, the UK, the US, Australia, and Japan among others and compiles lists of the wealthiest individuals around the globe.
