Hummel partners with Udaan to strengthen its reach in India
Danish sportswear brand Hummel has partnered with Udaan, a business-to-business e-commerce platform for pan-India distribution of its products.
With this partnership, Hummel is looking to leverage Udaan’s digital network to strengthen its reach in the Indian market.
Commenting on the partnership, Kumar Saurabh, head of lifestyle business at Udaan, in a statement said: “We are excited to sign an agreement with Hummel to be their exclusive pan-India distribution partner. We will use our extensive reach, tech-enabled platform, and experienced team, to cater to Hummel's existing and prospective customers across the country.”
Soumava Naskar, director for Hummel's India and Southeast Asia operations, added: “Udaan has built an incredible team and digital network throughout India and we look forward to expanding our reach to consumers with an improved customer experience, we are committed to this partnership and look forward to a credible and successful long-term association."
Hummel is owned by the Danish Thornico Group and is currently present in over 35 countries. Hummel considers India to be a high priority market and has also launched its website apart from strengthening the online network by partnering with other e-commerce firms in the country.
