Hummel partners with Hyderabad FC for ISL 2021-22 season

Danish sportswear brand Hummel has been named as the official team kit partner for Indian Super League (ISL) side Hyderabad FC for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
 

With this partnership, Hummel is looking to strengthen its brand visibility through its association with sports and plans to invest in football for growth in the Indian market.

Commenting on the association, Soumava Naskar, director India at Hummel, in a statement said: “Football is ingrained in our brand DNA. We come with a rich heritage in football and global partnerships with multiple renowned football clubs. It gives us immense pleasure to take this legacy ahead in India with Hyderabad FC.”

Varun Tripuraneni, co-owner of Hyderabad FC, added: “The season last year allowed us to show a small glimpse of how we have established HFC as a unique club with a focus on youth. We’re delighted to have Hummel as our official team kit partner as we set out to further build on last season’s success.”
 
Hummel is owned by the Danish Thornico Group and is currently present in over 35 countries. Hummel considers India to be a high-priority market and has also launched its website apart from strengthening the online network by partnering with other e-commerce firms in the country.
