House of Masaba travels to Kenya for pop-up
Designer Masaba Gupta’s fashion and lifestyle brand House of Masaba launched its spring/ summer 2022 collection in Nairobi, Kenya on May 14 at a pop-up in collaboration with promoters Fashlore and Ranee Productions.
The pop-up in Nairobi’s Zen Gardens gave the city’s shoppers their first chance to shop House of Masaba’s latest offerings in person, the brand announced on Facebook. The event featured a wide array of the brand’s fusion and occasion wear including lehengas, matching sets, and more casual pieces.
House of Masaba had a busy international events schedule before the pandemic, holding pop-ups in the US, Thailand, and Indonesia among other locations. In March this year, the brand held a pop-up shop in Dubai to mark its return to international shopping events.
House of Masaba has also launched its ‘Sanctuary ‘22’ collection of ‘luxe resort wear’, the brand announced on Facebook on May 17. The collection features brightly coloured and printed cape sets in reds and mustard yellows with delicate and floral details. The collection is inspired by the descriptions of summer in the novel ‘The Great Gatsby’ and looks are designed to be both glamorous and versatile.
This summer, House of Masaba is gearing up to launch a dedicated beauty and wellness line. Gupta herself is also gearing up for the launch of season two of her semi-autobiographical series on Netflix India.
