House of Masaba to launch dedicated beauty and wellness line

Designer and entrepreneur Masaba Gupta will launch a new beauty and wellness line this summer as part of her expanding brand House of Masaba.

“I’m launching a beauty brand that’s a hybrid between beauty, skincare and wellness,” Gupta told Vogue India about the upcoming launch. “It comes out in June-July. I want to make people feel like they're not just buying into a product, but also into a lifestyle, into a mindset. I want to help them go on a journey with the brand.”
 
House of Masaba is no stranger to the beauty world as Gupta has collaborated with multi-brand beauty giant Nykaa a number of times. House of Masaba x Nykaa has launched ranges of fragrances, nail polishes, and lipsticks featuring House of Masaba’s signature bright prints as its packaging. 

Gupta also plans to share other aspects of her own personal wellness journey, which she began during lockdown, with her brand followers and fans.

“Along with the beauty brand launch, there will also be a wellness blog,” said Gupta. “I truly believe that it’s not just about what you put on the outside but on the inside too. There will be tips, tricks, articles about how you can take better care of your skin, your nutrition, the workouts I swear by, the asanas I love, and foods I swear by. I want to make the whole experience bigger, better and more meaningful in the long run.”
 
The brand’s planned expansion follows Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Limited’s acquisition of a 51% stake in the label at the beginning of the year. Over the past year ABFRL has invested in a range of designer-led Indian clothing labels with the aim of expanding them, often with diffusion lines and brick-and-mortar outlets.
