House of Masaba to hold pop-ups in Chennai, Kolkata

Masaba Gupta has announced two pop-up events for her latest collaborative collection “Masaba x Rhea” in Kolkata on December 9 and in Chennai on December 10 to debut the exclusive line in the two cities.

House of Masaba will set up shop in Kolkata on Monday at the Mehek Oberoi to hold an exclusive offline preview of its new collaborative collection, the brand announced on Facebook. The event will give Kolkata’s shoppers their first chance to shop the occasion wear collection ahead of the winter wedding season.

The nest day, the brand will travel to Chennai for a pop-up at the Funky Fish store in Nungambakkam. The event will also debut the Masaba x Rhea collection in the city and will also feature pieces from House of Masaba’s autumn/ winter collection with both occasion wear and casual options. 

The Masaba x Rhea collection titled “The Chronicles of Femininity” mixes designer Masaba Gupta’s modern, whimsical take on traditional aesthetics and stylist Rhea Kapoor’s feminine eye. The collection marks the first time Gupta, known for her prints, has used rose motifs, the designer shared on Facebook. The collection also features pastel hues, checks, and a new “Love Letters” print which takes inspiration from old-fashioned romantic notes. 

Masaba Gupta has engaged in a wide range of collaborations to diversify her swiftly expanding brand. Companies Gupta has collaborated with include Tribe by Amrapali, Nykaa, Puma, and Ekaya among many others.
