House of Masaba to hold pop-up in California, US

Masaba Gupta’s fashion brand House of Masaba will travel to the US this weekend for a pop-up store at Urban Panache in California.

On March 2 and 3, House of Masaba will set up shop at Urban Panache in Mountain View, California. The pop-up will debut Gupta’s summer 2019 collection and give US shoppers a chance to shop the brand. The brand will bring its signature whimsically printed fusion wear to the West Coat for the showcase.

This pop-up shopping event follows locations including Nairobi, Kenya and Vancouver, Canada. Gupta has taken her brand to over six countries this past year and, although the brand has not opened any international flagship stores, its e-commerce site ships worldwide. The brand has a growing international following garnered no doubt in part by Gupta’s travelling pop-up concept. 

House of Masaba has also released the official campaign for its first ever jewellery collection. Titled “Ghana Ghana”, the Masaba x Tribe by Amrapali collection celebrates Ghana’s rich culture and mixes it with modern Indian aesthetics. The campaign is shot by Ishaan Nair with makeup by Mitesh Rajani and styling by Meagan Concessio. The minimal styling and dark lighting of the photographs showcases the strikingly bold gold and silver pieces in the collection which has now launched on the House of Masaba e-commerce store along with the new menswear collection.
