House of Masaba opens in Pune's Phoenix Marketcity

Masaba Gupta’s brand, House of Masaba, has come to Pune with a flagship store opening at Phoenix Marketcity in the metro’s Viman Nagar district.

The House of Masaba flagship store’s opening party took place on May 3 and an array of fashion professionals and social media influencers gathered to peruse the new store. Gupta herself attended the event in a signature print maxi-dress and guests were given refreshments as they browsed Gupta’s spring/ summer 2018 collection.

The shop, now open to customers, is painted in minimalist white and decorated with whitewashed animal head sculptures mounted on the walls and draped in Gupta’s scarves and accessories. The store’s modern minimalism is given a rustic touch with textured brickwork and the bright feel lets Gupta’s bright designs stand out. Plants decorate the floor and bright pink buckets decorate the ceiling to reflect Gupta’s botanical influences as well as her penchant for humour.

“Thank you for all your love, Pune! We are now open on the 1st floor of Phoenix Market City, opposite Fab India. Come visit,” Masaba Gupta joyfully expressed on her social media accounts. Gupta is currently opening stores across India, recently making her flagship debut in Hyderabaad, and is also bringing her pop-up store concept to the international scene with events in the US and Hong Kong.
