House of Masaba to host pop-up in Nairobi

House of Masaba will visit Nairobi, Kenya, on December 7 to host a pop-up shop at the Tribe Hotel in collaboration with Fashlore Designer Preview.

“A swirl of prints, colors and uber chic silhouettes is heading your way, Nairobi,” wrote the brand’s founder Masaba Gupta on social media. “Block your calendar for this weekend as we showcase our winter/ festive’18 collection on 7th December at the Tribe Hotel!”

Gupta’s new releases include a “Red Coconut Breeze” tie-up shirt and high-waist trouser set that was recently worn by the Bollywood celebrity Priyanka Chopra as she prepared for her wedding celebrations.

Other recent releases that will travel to Kenya include Gupta’s first ever bridal line and a range of bright hued festive wear featuring Gupta’s signature whimsical prints. As this is Gupta’s first pop-up shop in Nairobi, it will be a unique opportunity for Kenyan shoppers.

Gupta’s Nairobi pop-up shop comes hot on the heels of her recent pop-up shopping event that was held in Vancouver, Canada, on December 1 and 2. It has been a busy festive season for the brand as, prior to that, House of Masaba held a runway show in Kolkata as part of Shaadi by Marriott, a pop-up store in Indore, and opened its first flagship store in Chennai. Gupta also made her first foray into menswear this season.
