House of Masaba to hold Dubai pop-up with designer talk

Fashion and lifestyle brand House of Masaba will travel to Dubai for a showcase on February 8 at Huna by the Pond, where designer Masaba Gupta will give a talk on her recent ‘Masaba x Rhea’ collaborative collection.

 
House of Masaba will return to Dubai on Saturday, in partnership with multi-brand luxury womenswear retailer Vesimi, the brand announced on Facebook. The pop-up shop will feature the brand’s recent collaborative collection with celebrity stylist Rhea Kapoor, as well as its ‘I Will Wear Out Plastic’ collection, in partnership with the United Nations.
 
Masaba Gupta will speak to shoppers about her ‘The Chronicles of Femininity’ collection with Kapoor, including her inspirations for the line and styling tips. The collection features Gupta’s first ever rose print and mixes her whimsical and graphic aesthetic with Kapoor’s delicate, feminine styling.

The event will also give Dubai’s shoppers their first chance to shop Gupta’s I Will Wear Out Plastic collection, which features printed dresses, kurtas, skirts, and trousers with zip-off sections that transform into bags. The garments are designed to eliminate the need for a plastic shopping bag, without people having to remember to carry a fabric alternative.
