Houmn opens new store in Mumbai

Houmn has opened a new brick-and-mortar store in Mumbai. The home textiles and homeware brand’s new store is located on the first floor of Phoenix Palladium mall’s East Zone.

“Get ready to revamp your home with minimalist patterns and subtle hues from the newly opened Houmn India,” Phoenix Palladium announced on Facebook. The new store has a spacious, bright interior and highlights Houmn’s printed textile throws, cushions, bed covers and sheets, and other home textiles.

The store mixes natural wood shelves with white walls and and industrial style ceiling to mirror its traditional meets modern aesthetic. The store is one of a number of new additions to Phoenix Palladium mall’s brand roster, along with Charles & Keith, Gant, and Anastasia Beverley Hills.

The brand’s products mix a traditional Indian aesthetic with items designed to fit in the modern home. Floral and geometric prints on fabrics add the to classic desi aesthetic and clean white background hues add a touch of contemporary simplicity.

The new store is the brand’s second location in Mumbai, following on from its store on Juhu Tara road in the metro. Houmn also has brick-and-mortar stores in Bengaluru’s Phoenix Mall and Gurugram’s Ambience Mall as well as in Delhi and Ahmedabad, according to the brand’s website, which also functions as its e-commerce store.
