Hip Hop inspired jewellery brand Hiflyer has launched its first Metaverse collection as it steps into NFTs with a digital-exclusive collection.

Hiflyer’s first NFT range is inspired by the work of the late designer Virgil Abloh and is a tribute to his work in the fashion industry, Latestly reported. The collection includes an NFT pendant which is a rendering of the ‘Optical Fiberlight Keepall’ designed by Abloh for Louis Vuitton which has the ‘Hiflyer’ logo added to the bottom of the 3D digital design.

“Being born and raised into an Indian family, I have always been taught to look at jewelleries and ornaments as an asset and this is one of the reasons why this idea came up,” the brand’s founder told Asian News International about his inspiration behind the launch. “Metaverse, particularly NFTs are an emerging trend to sell and purchase your digital assets and being in the fashion and glamour industry, it was much-needed for us to do something new, something which people find fascinating.”

Hiflyer retails its range of mostly silver jewellery on a range of multi-brand marketplaces including Amazon India, Myntra, and Ajio among others. The brand has been worn by a number of Bollywood celebrities including Karan Johar and Ranveer Singh, the brand announced on Instagram.
