Hari Krishna holds blood donation drive to celebrate 30th anniversary

Diamond manufacturer and exporter Hari Krishna Exports Private Limited celebrated 30 yers in business with a blood donation and platelet awareness drive in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.

The drive collected a total of 617 units of blood and received multiple registrations of people pledging to donate platelets, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. The drive was open to the public and was attended by bankers from the State Bank of India, Krishna Prakash, and Canara Bank among others. 

“This milestone HK has reached, was not achievable without the support of all of you,” said Hari Krishna Exports’ co-founder and managing director Ghanshyam Dholakia, the GJEPC reported. “Thank you for standing with us and helping us climb this mountain of success.”

To date, Hari Krishna Exports has collected 12,772 units of blood from its blood donation drives. The business has hosted events at its offices in both Mumbai and Surat. 

Hari Krishna Exports is headquartered in the Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai and in Surat and was launched in 1992 by the three Dholakia brothers. The business exports cut and polished diamonds to 79 countries and manufactures an average of 500,000 carats of diamonds per year.
