Hamster London opens new clothing and accessories store in Goregaon

Clothing and accessories brand Hamster London has opened an exclusive brand outlet in Mumbai’s Goregaon district inside Oberoi Mall. The outlet is the brand’s first store in Mumbai’s suburbs and has an eclectic, feminine interior. 

“We are delighted to open our store at Oberoi Mall, which is in line with our curated and niche approach, keeping the modern aesthetics with our old school values,” said Hamster London’s founder Megha Ruia about the launch, India Retailing reported. 
 
Hamster London’s new store features a wide range of women’s accessories including handbags, pouches, wallets, and fashion accessories as well as casual clothing, home décor, stationary, gift items, footwear, and lifestyle goods among other products. The brand is designed to appeal to Gen Z shoppers with its youthful styles and playful graphics.
“With the addition of Hamster London, I believe that adding more premium brands to the current retail mix will lead to an increase in footfall and enhance customer experience,” said Oberoi Realty’s CEO of malls, Sameep Pathak.

With its new store in Oberoi Mall, Hamster London joins brands including Croma, Unicorn, Nike, Puma, Asics, Levi’s, Lifestyle and Sephora among others. The mall measures close to 5.52 lakh square feet and is owned by real estate business Oberoi Realty Limited. 
Hamster London opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Mumbai in Phoenix Palladium Mall in Lower Parel. The brand also runs stores in New Delhi at Select Citywalk and Ambience Mall, in Noida at Mall Of India, and in Gurugram at Cyber Hub.
