H&M plans to bring its mid-range clothing brand Cos to India following a swift brick-and-mortar expansion in the country and recent sales growth, three sources told ET Bureau.

“They are planning to open two [Cos outlets] each in Delhi region and in Mumbai starting next year,” an anonymous source told the Economic Times.

“They are also exploring to bring a couple of their other fashion brands.”

H&M also plans to introduce its homeware brand H&M Home to the Indian market. The brand had already started planning to bring H&M Home to India last year and plans to focus on home furnishings and décor and open dedicated stores for H&M Home.

H&M runs a range of clothing brands including Monki, Araket, and Weekday. H&M’s Cos brand, which stands for ‘Collection of Style’ is currently present in 44 countries globally with a total of 290 stores.

H&M entered India in October 2015 and currently has 46 stores in the country. The brand plans to continue its brick-and-mortar expansion and reach a target of 100 stores in India.
