H&M names Yanira Ramirez as new country sales manager for India

H&M has appointed Yanira Ramirez as the new country sales manager for India. She will replace the current India head, Janne Einola.

Yanira will be responsible for the brand’s India operations, which includes online and offline expansion.
 
“Yanira takes over as H&M India’s new country sales manager and will be based out of H&M India’s head office in New Delhi,” the company said in a statement.

Ramirez, an 18-year H&M veteran, has previously worked as the global sales manager for H&M’s fashion brand, & Other Stories.

A qualified lawyer, Ramirez joined H&M 18 years ago. She also served as the country HR head for H&M in the United Kingdom and then joined the global sales and operations HR team in Sweden, the company said in the statement.
 
Since its India debut in late 2015, the largest Swedish fashion retailer has opened 50 stores in 25 Indian cities.
