Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) India has signed a deal with Flipkart owned fashion firms Myntra and Jabong to sell its products on their online stores.

H&M witnessed strong growth both in-store and online in the country with sales growing by 42 percent during the first quarter of December to February.
 
The company sees huge potential in the Indian market and expects its partnership with Myntra-Jabong to widen its customer base and boost sales in the coming quarters.

Commenting on the partnership, Amar Nagaram, Head – Myntra and Jabong in a statement said, “We are extremely delighted to partner with H&M, one of the world's leading fashion brands and host them on Myntra and Jabong. As India’s leading fashion destination for international brands, this partnership will allow millions of online shoppers across the country to access and experience the best of H&M and have it delivered at their doorsteps.”
 
Karl-Johan Persson, CEO H&M group added, “India is a growth market with large potential and we look forward to making our brand available to new customers across the country. Myntra and Jabong will be an important complement to H&M’s existing physical and digital stores in India.”
 
H&M entered the Indian market with its first store in 2015 and currently has 41 stores in the country and also sells online through its own website.
