Gunu Sahni holds "Retroactive" pop-up store at The Stylist, Mumbai

On Dec. 18, Gunu Sahni is hosting a pop-up store at The Stylist in Khar West, Mumbai. The event, “Retroactive by Gunu Sahni”, features the designer’s festive collection.

Today, Sahni will present her latest collection at a one-day pop-up store at Mumbai’s multi-brand luxury boutique, The Stylist. The designer is hosting a free event, open to all.

“In sync with the party season, Gunu Sahni's statement-makers are ready to take over your wardrobe with a pop-up,” said the brand in a press release. The collection features a selection of day-to-night western wear that mixes relaxed silhouettes with intricate embroidered details. Embellished tunics and tops, draped trousers, and athleisure style sets all feature Sahni’s signature embellishments and are designed for the festive party season.

The Stylist is situated in Mumbai’s Khar West district where the label also has its own flagship store. Khar West is seeing an increasing number of luxury and bridge-to-luxury brands opening their doors there and has become one of the city’s premium shopping districts.

Founded in 2012, Gunu Sahni’s eponymous label specialises in western wear with a focus on embroidery. Sahni began her brand after spending around five years working for designers including Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The brand retails from its Gunu Sahni Label flagship store in Khar West, Mumbai, and from its dedicated e-commerce store.
