Gulabo Jaipur mixed glamour with handicrafts for its latest collection with 3D embellishments, glittering details, and full silhouettes. The collection followed a classic traditional aesthetic, reinterpreted for the modern Indian woman.

“The collection is a celebration of Mughal royalty's rich lineage of art and architecture,” Gulabo Jaipur announced on Facebook. “It's a representation of the fashion culture that blossomed under the Sultanate - a reminiscence of the floral motifs and zari. The collection boasts glorious handwork while retaining its Jaipuri roots. Block-printed Jaipuri cotton paired rightly with elegant hand karigari is at the heart of this timeless collection.”

Model, actress, and influencer Ashi Khanna walked the runway for the brand, her representatives announced in a press release. Khanna has an Instagram following of over 1.7 million and is an advocate for Indian traditional wear and desi brands.

Bombay Times Fashion Week ran from April 21 to 23 in Mumbai and is an initiative by the Times Group. The fashion week featured runway shows by Meeami Fashion, Madame, and Salt Attire among others.
