Greendigo launched its first children’s wear collection in Kolkata for the first time at the Forum Courtyard Mall on November 16. The brand took part in Pin Wheel Project’s latest “Mom’s and Kid’s Exhibition” which brought together 15 children-focused fashion and lifestyle brands from across India for a business-to-customer showcase.

Greendigo Organic Clothing brought along its array of simple yet striking children’s clothing. The brand uses only non-toxic dyes, still not standard in the fashion industry, yet offers clothing in a range of bright colours. The brand also states that all of its products are manufactured in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.

Launched this year by Meghna Kishore and Barkha Bhatnagar Das in Mumbai, Greendigo Organic Clothing produces children’s wear made from 100% certified organic cotton, according to the brand’s website. The brand aims to raise awareness about the harmful nature of chemical textile dyes and synthetic fibres as bad for both the environment and children’s skin. The brand retails from its dedicated e-commerce store.
