Good Earth to hold launch event for 'Tilla' collection in New Delhi

Multi-brand fashion and lifestyle retailer Good Earth will hold an exclusive preview event for the latest collection from womenswear brand Tilla, at its Khan Market store in New Delhi from Thursday.

 
From February 27 to 29, Good Earth will host the new collection 'Tilla' at its Khan Market store to present an array of abhos, ejars, kaftans, and odhanas, as well as fusion-style separates, Good Earth announced on Facebook. The event will give the capital’s shoppers the chance to meet the brand’s designer Aratrik Dev Varman and discuss the collection.
 
Tilla’s collection is inspired by craft traditions of the Kutch region. Garments come in rich hues and feature delicate pattern work and embellishments. The brand was launched by Varman in 2011 in Ahmedabad. 

A film screening the brand’s film ‘Notes from a Craftsman’ will also showcase its work with five local craftspeople to create latest collection. An art installation titled ‘Seven Indian Trees’ will also feature and display different trees that can be found in rural and urban India with the aim of increasing environmental knowledge.
 
Good Earth will also soon launch ‘Good Earth Fabrics’, a range of textiles to be sold by the meter and designed to made into homeware items such as curtains, cushion covers, bed linens. The textiles will feature signature block-prints by Good Earth on a range of fine-cottons.
