Good Earth to hold exclusive collection launch event for new Khadi line

The multi-brand fashion and lifestyle boutique Good Earth will host an event at its Khan Market store from August 9 to 10 for the launch of 11.11/Eleven Eleven’s new handloom line, 'The Khadi Way', created exclusively for Good Earth.

From Friday, Good Earth’s Khan Market store in New Delhi will launch 11.11/Eleven Eleven’s new sustainable collection, which will retail exclusively from Good Earth stores. The collection is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and aims to celebrate his legacy. Gandhi was famous for wearing hand spun and handwoven textiles made from desi cotton and 11.11/Eleven Eleven’s Khadi line celebrates Gandhi Charkha and Amber Charkha.

The 11.11/Eleven Eleven handloom collection has a colour palette of ecru and indigo and also features Kalamkari silk separates in autumnal hues. The brand aims to mix sustainable fashion with artisan crafts and has also included its signature bandhani tie-dye designs in the collection in indigo, ochre, and smoke.

11.11/Eleven Eleven recently held a pop-up shop as part of Nayaab India at the Crowne Plaza in Chennai from August 1 to 3. The brand also showcased its spring/summer 2020 collection at the Man/Woman trade show in June in New York.

Founded in 2004, 11.11/Eleven Eleven is owned by CellDsgn, which is run by entrepreneurs and fashion graduates, Shani Himanshu and Mia Morikawa.
