Good Earth launches collaborative collection with Teresa Martins

Fashion and lifestyle brand Good Earth has partnered with Traces of Me designer Teresa Martins to launch a collaborative womenswear collection in the capital on November 29.

Good Earth’s new collaborative collection launches at its flagship store in Khan Market, New Delhi on Friday evening as well as on its e-commerce store, the brand announced on Facebook.

Inspired by her travels to Nepal, Martins’ collection for Good Earth features yak wool textiles and handwoven quilted jackets. With rustic, hand embroidered details and rich, autumnal hues contrasted by bright colours, the collection is a modern take on Himalayan heritage. Notable pieces include free-form jackets in contrasting velvet and checked yak wool. 

“Textures play an important role in designer Teresa’s design process; they are a mainstay of her brand Traces of Me,” wrote Good Earth on Facebook. “As we welcome the winter months in India, Teresa presents a range of soft textures and serene colours for the Good Earth X Teresa Martins Fall 2019 collection.”

Teresa Martins is a Portuguese fashion designer who founded her womenswear brand Traces of Me in 2003 after studying biology and pursuing a career in teaching. The brand is based is Lisbon and retails from its dedicated e-commerce store.
