Gold Souk Fashion Weekend holds third edition in Kochi

Gold Souk Fashion Week held its third edition in Kochi over the weekend and saw 15 designers present runway shows featuring 60 models to promote the local fashion industry.

The Gold Souk Grande mall in Kochi, Kerala, hosted the third Gold Souk Fashion Week on April 27 in association with Black & White Creations Private Limited. The fashion event featured brands including Ziva Maternity Wear, Flower Power, Jessy Prathap, FS, and Parisiya and celebrity Malayali Mankas walked the runway as a showstopper. Other celebrity participants included actresses Jipsa, Deva Surya, Suns Lakshmi, Michel, Sadhika Venugopal, Roshna among others. 

The fashion show featured both traditional wear and western wear designers as well as menswear and children’s wear. The event was open to all and aimed to promote designers from Kerala. The show directors were Anwar A T and Suresh Babu and the models were choreographed by Shamkan.

The fashion event’s media partners were Media Cochin and the Inspire Media Group and the event’s makeup and styling was organised by the celebrity makeup artist Tintu Bhadran. Other event sponsors included Starchorz, Sajaa’s Designer Boutique, and Kesha Hair.
