E-commerce enabler GoKwik is continuing to expand its services to boost brands’ e-commerce performance. A number of brands using its services, including Fablestreet, Neeman, and Boult Audio, have reported between 40% to 160% increases in online orders after teaming up with the business.

“E-commerce brands continue to show a secular growth trend and direct to customer brands are forming the centre of it,” said GoKwik’s CEO and co-founder Chirag Taneja, ET Retail reported. “The boom of D2C continues to grow and it is very evident with the growth journey many brands are embarking on through increase in transactions, deeper penetration in remote areas of India, and in terms of processing GMV [gross merchandise value].”

One of GoKwik’s goals is to reduce business’ losses on returned items, made from cash on delivery orders. By minimising these losses, partner businesses are able to expand cash on delivery services across India which brings in wider customer demographics.

GoKwik is funded by US-based venture capital firm Sequoia Capital and was founded by Chirag Taneja, Ankush Talwar, and Vivek Bajpai in 2020. The business leverages artificial intelligence to solve merchant-first issues and provides its services to over 250 brands.
