GoKwik announces Amitt Sharma as new chief customer officer
E-commerce enabler GoKwik has announced Amitt Sharma as its new chief customer officer who joins the business from MoEngage.
GoKwik’s new chief customer officer Amitt Sharma joins the business with 12 years of experience working on improving customer experience, ET Bureau reported. In his new role, Sharma will work on maximising value delivery to clients and growth and retention initiatives.
“As we expand our business into newer segments, and geographies, it becomes critical to constantly bring the best practices in improving and modernising GoKwik’s customer care approach and leadership,” said GoKwik’s co-founder Chirag Taneja, ET Tech reported. “We believe that with Amit coming on board, we would build a world-class organisation focussed on the ethos of customer centricity and uplift e-commerce conversion rates at a rapid scale.”
“As someone passionate about customer delight, GoKwik’s merchant-first philosophy is quite appealing to me,” said Sharma. “The vision of this company to create products that cater to the biggest problems e-commerce brands face today is commendable.”
GoKwik launched in 2020 as founders Chirag Taneja, Vivek Bajpai, and Ankush Talwar aimed to provide full-stack e-commerce enablement solutions to brands. The business has worked with over 250 direct-to-customer brands including Lenskart, Mamaearth, and Snapdeal among others.
