The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 8 percent to Rs 3,303 crore, as against Rs 3,055 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

GCPL’s total expenses for the quarter were up by 11 percent at Rs 2,714 crore, as against Rs 2,435 crore in the corresponding quarter.

Commenting on the Q3 results, Sudhir Sitapati, managing director CEO of GCPL in a statement said, “We delivered a mixed performance in Q3FY2022. While overall sales grew by 8 per cent, and we remain on track to achieve double-digit sales growth for the full year, it was driven entirely by price-led growth.”

Over the outlook, Sitapati added, “We believe that with the relatively non-discretionary, mass pricing of our portfolio and very good performance on market shares, volume growth will return in the medium-term.”

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd is owned by the Godrej Group and has a strong presence in the personal care and cosmetics market.
