Goat Brand Labs appoint Shouvik Roy as chief of brand marketing
Bengaluru-based start-up Goat Brand Labs has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Shouvik Roy as the chief of brand marketing.
Roy is one of the lead names in the advertising and marketing industry with over two decades of experience in brand consulting, strategic planning, marketing strategy, advertising and digital transformation.
Commenting on his new role, Shouvik Roy in a statement said, “I’ve worked with entrepreneurs for most of my life. And I have deep admiration and respect for people who build something of their own from the ground up. In this new role, I hope to bring my expertise in brand building to the forefront and lend a hand to the Indian entrepreneurs who are creating the next set of direct-to-consumer stars.”

Goat Brand Labs was started by Rishi Vasudev, along with Rameswar Misra. It is modelled on the Boston-based e-commerce start-up Thrasio which acquires small merchants and brands on leading e-commerce platforms and helps grow their business.
