Globalbees acquires homegrown millennial skincare brand Prolixr

Globalbees, the direct-to-consumer brand, has acquired homegrown millennial skincare brand Prolixr. As part of the deal, the founders and staff of Prolixr will become a part of the Globalbees team.

With this acquisition, Globalbees has entered the lucrative personal care segment and sees huge potential for growth with Prolixr over the next few years.
 
Commenting on the acquisition, Nitin Agarwal, CEO of Globalbees, in a statement said: “The Prolixr team has a deep understanding of what the youth are looking for in their skincare regimen. The company has established themselves as a market leader in their niche. With its unique offerings, proprietary products, and undisputed know-how, the brand has a strong growth potential to disrupt the skincare market globally. We look forward to turbocharging Prolixr’s growth curve as a Globalbees portfolio brand.”

Mayur Mahajan, co-founder of Prolixr added: “This is a turning point for our company. Prolixr, founded in 2018 by Jayesh Hans, Mayur Mahajan, and Aditya Sharma offers skincare products and is listed on over 25 marketplaces like Nykaa, Amazon, Purplle, and more.
