GJEPC travels globe to promote IIJS Signature 2023

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council is holding wide scale international promotions for its trade showIndia International Jewellery Show Signature. The organisation will visit Abu Dhabi, Bahrain Bangladesh, Sharjah, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand this November and December.

The traders’ body has already held promotional road shows for IIJS Signature in Nepal, Dubai, Singapore, Italy, and Malaysia, the GJEPC announced on its website. The aim of the roadshows is to promote the trade show as an international networking opportunity and to disseminate information about its new features for 2023. The GJEPC’s Dubai campaign included a roadshow attended by over 350 jewellery buyers from over 25 countries.
IIJS Signature will take place from January 5 to 9 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO) in Mumbai. The trade show will feature over 1,300 exhibitors spread across more than 2,400 booths, according to the GJEPC.
For its upcoming edition, the trade show will feature a new section dedicated to lab-grown diamonds. The trade show will also feature a strong focus on sustainability as well as sections for gold, studded, and diamond jewellery, silver jewellery, artefacts, loose stones, and laboratories and education among other categories.
“IIJS Signature is perfectly timed to replenish inventory for the upcoming jewellery-driving festivals,” said GJEPC convenor for national exhibitions Nirav Bhansali, the GJEPC reported. “The council strives diligently and passionately to offer quality in terms of the product, exhibitors, visitors, and show ambience. The enthusiastic response from 1,300+ applicants has demonstrated the industry’s faith in the IIJS brand, breaking all earlier space booking records for IIJS Signature.”
