GJEPC promotes trade show in Saudi Arabia, Thailand

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council travelled to Saudi Arabia and Thailand to promote its upcoming trade show India International Jewellery Show Signature and met with a range of traders’ bodies in the two countries.

The GJEPC has launched a door-to-door roadshow campaign to promote its IIJS Signature 2023 trade show in multiple countries with the aim of brining in buyers and wholesalers from across the globe. From December 5 to 7, a delegation from the traders’ body travelled to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to meet with local jewellery brands and promote the trade show scheduled for this January, the GJEPC announced on its website.
Jewellery businesses in Saudi Arabia that the GJEPC invited to IIJS Signature 2023 include Dewan AL Dahab Jewellery Co., Bahamdein Jewellery, Ikleel Jewelry, Dananeer Jewellery, Wael Al- Sayadi Jewellery, Al – Hashdi Gold & Jewellery, and Wael Al- Sayadi Jewellery among others. Members of the GJEPC delegation also met with the president of the Merchants Gold Smith in Jeddah, Faidi Bin Ali Al Hasedi of the jewellery brand Faidi Al- Hashedi Jewelry as part of its trip to the country.
On its trip to Thailand, the GJEPC delegation met with the Thai Gem and Jewellery Traders' Association and Gems, Jewelry and Precious Metal Confederation of Thailand to promote IIJS Signature. The delegation also included a presentation by National Exhibitions Sub-Committee member Anish Birawat on the features of the trade show which was met with an enthusiastic response, according to the GJEPC.
The fifteenth edition of IIJS Signature will run from January 5 to 9, 2023. The trade show is designed to showcase Indian-made fine jewellery in categories including gold and diamond jewellery to help boost Indian jewellery exports.
