As part of its work to promote Indian jewellery exports, the GJEPC jointly organised the India Pavilion at the Jewellery Arabia 2019 edition, which runs from November 19 to 23 in Bahrain. The international trade show was inaugurated on November 19 by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Prime Minister Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The India Pavilion features Indian brands including Dialmaz, Golkunda Diamonds and Jewellery Limited, KP International, and Spectrum Jewels among others. The event aims to facilitate networking to allow participating businesses to enhance their international trade networks.

The five-day event features over 550 exhibitors from 29 countries covering product categories including gold jewellery, diamond jewellery, luxury watches, gemstones, and luxury accessories. Jewellery Arabia 2019 is sponsored by Naseej, Danat, Al-Sarraj Jewellers, and CrediMax and has also developed a mobile app for its latest edition.

The trade show first launched in 1992 and caters to trade buyers and private jewellery collectors. The event describes itself as “the largest and most prestigious jewellery exhibition in the Middle East,” on its website.
