The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council has announced that it has extended the duration of the 2023 edition of the India International Jewellery Show Signature 2023 to five days. The upcoming edition of the jewellery trade show will be close to double the size of its 2022 edition, the GJEPC announced on its website on September 13, citing increased industry demand.

“The magnitude of the upcoming IIJS Signature show will be similar to that of IIJS Premiere 2022,” said the GJEPC convenor for its National Exhibitions Sub-committee Nirav Bhansali, the GJEPC reported. “The astonishing success of the August show has created a ripple effect in terms of demand that is expected to last until IIJS Signature. We had been receiving requests to extend IIJS Signature by one day as the four-day format was limiting the visitors’ ability to cover the entire show floor.”

The 2023 edition of IIJS Signature is scheduled to feature more than 2,500 stalls with over 1,300 participating exhibitors. This will make it the largest scale IIJS trade show to date, according to the GJEPC.

The trade show will be spread over an area measuring over 65,000 square metres at venue the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. The event will run from January 5 to 9, 2023, and it is expected to draw a crowd of over 32,000 visitors from the international jewellery industry.
