The upcoming edition of IIJS Premiere will run from August 4 to 8, the GJEPC announced on its website. The GJEPC has not yet announced the location for the trade show but previous editions have taken place in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

The GJEPC then plans to hold the next edition of IIJS Signature from January 5 to 8, 2023. The organisation will subsequently hold an edition of IIJS Tritiya from March 17 to 20, 2023. The business-to-business events will draw both a domestic and international audience.

The GJEPC is also gearing up to hold the India Gem and Jewellery Show at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre in Jaipur, Rajasthan from May 10 to 12. The trade show will bring together gem and jewellery businesses from across the country and aims to facilitate networking between dealers, traders, buyers, wholesalers, and retailers.

The trade shows are part of the GJEPC’s work to boost Indian gem and jewellery exports. Other initiatives undertaken by the GJEPC towards this aim include skills upgradation programmes and lobbying the government for favourable economic policies for the sector as well as trade deals with other nations.
