The recently launched company pioneers a new range of t-shirts that change their design and colour in sunlight.

Girgitt's new colour change t-shirts just launched on their website along with other online marketplaces - Girgitt

Solar t-shirts by Girgitt change colour when the wearer steps out from indoors into the sun. New designs appear on the t-shirt and colours in the design also change. Whilst this technology is already available in other countries this is the first of its kind in India. Girggit is a relatively inexpensive label and their new solar t-shirts are priced around the 1,500 rupee mark.

The founder of Girggit, Himanshu Thakur, reported growth and expressed a desire to open brick and mortar stores by the end of the year. Thakur also stated that the brand will be applying its colour changing technologies to other products as well in the near future.

The label has also recently struck deals with Flipkart, Snapdeal, Paytm, and Amazon and their products are now available to shop on these online marketplaces. Due to social media marketing, the brand’s profile has risen swiftly in the year that it has been manufacturing.

Girggit was launched in 2016 and focuses on t-shirts and casual tops. The brand’s name translates to “chameleon” and the brand’s aesthetic focuses on people’s ever changing individual style, making pieces designed to be flexible and casual. The brand is part of Shree G. Pingaksh Finsol Pvt. Ltd.
