The business conclave saw the GIA India present its “GIA Diamond Origin Report” to members of the Surat Jewellers Association, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council announced on its website.

The report aimed to highlight the importance of focusing on diamond origins, full disclosure, and adherence to standards to build consumer trust. The event also featured a panel discussion on “Building Consumer Confidence”, which was moderated by GIA India and Middle East managing director, Nirupa Bhatt.

“We really appreciate the work GIA India is doing for the trade,” said Surat Jewellers Association vice president Deepak Choksi, the GJEPC reported.

“GIA has taken a great step with the introduction of the Diamond Origin Report, which presents great insights to the consumer about the good mined diamonds do and help build their confidence. We are always grateful to GIA India and look forward to their services which benefit our businesses.”

“Modern management is based on western mythology and is objective based,” said Indian author Devdutt Pattanaik in his motivational speech at the event.

“All employers, not just Indian, can learn from Indian philosophy that human capital thrives not in a competitive environment but in an enriching and enabling performance spirit. At Evolve speaking about ‘Mythology for Business and Market,’ I believe this philosophy will help the participants advance their businesses.”
