Dolce & Gabbana reinterpreted the fairytale princess look during the Italian house's Autumn/Winter 2016 show during Milan Fashion Week this season, with a pretty yet contemporary makeup look to match.

The brand offered a sneak preview of its new "Blush of Roses" face collection with a look that focused on porcelain skin with a natural, flawless finish, rosy cheeks, bright eyes, full, plump lips and feminine nails.

To achieve the look, "Dolce & Gabbana Primer" was first applied to moisturized skin, before "Perfect Luminous Foundation" was blended outward from the center of the face out towards the ears. A dab of "Perfect Luminous Concealer" corrected any imperfections, while the new "Creamy Blush" in Rosa Calizia 20 and the new "Creamy Bronzer" in Rosa del Deserto 50 were swept across the cheeks for a natural-looking flush.

For the eyes, the makeup artists blended together the bronzer and the blusher and swept them across the eyelids towards the eyebrows. Nude pink and charcoal purple hues from the "Eyeshadow Quad" in Nude 110 were then applied along the crease to create a subtle and soft smoky eye. For added definition, the "Eyeliner" in Nude 9 was applied to the inner rim of the eyes and a flick of "Khol Pencil" in Chocolate 4 drawn along the outer corner.

The lips were inspired by blooming flowers, using "Classic Cream Lipstick" in Honey 130 as a base, topped by additional layers of Classic Cream Lipstick in Amethyst 330, Dahlia 320, Scarlett 625 and Luscious 435 to the center of the lips for a sensuous look. Finally, a slick of "Nail Lacquer" in Rosebud 107 tied the feminine aesthetic together.

The Blush of Roses collection will be available in September.
