German trade fair View Premium Selection 2021 gets cancelled

View Premium Selection, which was scheduled from November 30, has been cancelled due to the increase in COVID cases in Munich. Until recently, the organisers of the View Premium Selection were on the final spurt to the realisation of the Preview Textile Show.

The political regulations in Bavaria and the associated, strongly limiting conditions for events starting from an incidence of 1000 have far-reaching consequences for the View Premium Selection. Due to the currently strong increase in the infection rates in Munich, the Preview Textile Show has been cancelled as a precaution, the organisers said in a media release.

“Up to the last moment, we tried to make everything possible and believed in being able to set a positive example again with the realisation of the View Premium Selection. We have fulfilled the requirements, adapted our hygiene concept several times to the dynamically changing measures and took the necessary precautions for a safe event,” said Sebastian Klinder, managing director, Munich Fabric Start.

“In short, we were ready for the final countdown - ready to welcome the textile industry back to Munich! Especially because of the great support from the industry and the high demand for View, we now deeply regret the circumstances and the short-term cancellation, but the health and safety of all show participants always comes first," explained Klinder.

Now the organisers are fully focused on organising the Munich Fabric Start Spring.Summer 23 from January 25-27, 2022, and the Bluezone on January 25-26 as COVID-19 compliant physical trade shows in Munich.

View Premium Selection Autumn.Winter 23/24 will take place on June 21-22, 2022.
