Gem & Jewellery India International Fair to take place in Chennai this March

From March 25 to 27, the Gem & Jewellery India International Fair will bring together fine jewellery manufacturers and retailers at the Chennai Trade Centre for its Akshaya Tritiya edition. 

The Gem & Jewellery India International Fair is about to launch its visitor pre-registration, the event organisers announced on Facebook. The trade show’s stall bookings are open and featured product categories will include gold jewellery, diamond jewellery, bridal jewellery, and temple jewellery, among others. 
 
The trade show will take place in an exhibition area measuring over two lakh square feet. Along with stalls, the event will also include buyer-seller meets, networking, seminars, industry workshops, a machinery and allied services pavilion, and a fashion show to highlight upcoming jewellery trends. 

The trade show expects to feature around 1,200 stalls with over 600 manufacturing and wholesale businesses and industry visitors from both India and abroad. The event is, “the only expo consistently catering [to the] South Indian jewellery fraternity,” its organisers announced on Facebook. 
 
The business-to-business event is organised by the Jewellers and Diamonds Traders Association Madras and the Tamil Nadu Jewellers Federation and its show manager is United Exhibitions. The bi-annual event’s tagline is “by the industry, for the industry”, according to its website.
