Gartex Texprocess reschedules Mumbai and Delhi trade shows

Garment and textile trade show Gartex Texprocess organisers MEX Exhibitions Private Limited and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India have announced new dates for their upcoming Mumbai and Delhi editions. 

 
Gartex Texprocess’ next trade show in Delhi will now take place from December 17 to 19, 2020 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, its organisers announced in a press release. The Delhi edition was originally scheduled to take place in August but continued disruption caused by coronavirus necessitated postponing the event. 
 
The trade show’s Mumbai edition will now take place from March 19 to 21, 2021 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The organisers had already announced in March that the Mumbai edition scheduled for March 2020 would be postponed with dates to follow. 

MEX Exhibitions and Messe Frankfurt decided to postpone the trade shows following feedback from exhibitors, partners, and industry associations and the new dates will give participants more time to prepare, the businesses said. In the time leading up to the December edition, the organisers plan to keep the industry connected through an ongoing webinar series, which will focus on supporting the industry and facilitating a sustainable recovery from the coronavirus crisis.
 
Gartex Texprocess aims to facilitate networking and business between garment and textile manufacturers and buyers and exporters. The trade show features a Denim Show, Embroidery Zone, Digitex Show, Fabrics and Trims Show, and Garmenting and Apparel Machinery Show among other sections.
